There are several ways to crack the Vault secret code:
1. Find it in the bio section of the 88cocktails Instagram or Facebook page
2. Watch the James Bond movie ‘You Only Live Twice’. Whilst we recommend watching the whole movie, you may want to pay close attention from 26 minutes 34 seconds through to 27 minutes 31 seconds.
3. Guessing the combination – however with the code being a 5 digit number there are over 100,000 combinations. As such we recommended Option 1 or 2.

It sure is! The easiest and most convenient way to take your cocktail to the next level is to spray your cocktail with an 8/8 Cocktail Elements atomiser.

Alternatively:
1. Choose fresh, firm orange or lemon (ideally at room temperature)
2. Take a vegetable peeler and peel off 3-4 cm (note: a little bit of pith is fine as it contains essential oils, however try not to get too much as it will be bitter).
3. With both hands, hold the peel at each end, with the outer peel facing the cocktail. Give it a rapid squeeze just above the cocktail – to get as much of the oils out of it.
4. Run the peel over the outer and inner rim of the cocktail glass (not the pith side)
5. Give the peel a twist and place in the cocktail as a garnish.

Great question. Large format ice is basically a large ice block. The bigger the better. It is a key ingredient to getting the most out of your 8/8 Cocktail. It’s fine to make your own ice at home using large silicon moulds. However, if you want to take your cocktail experience to the next level, it’s possible to have crystal clear, large format ice delivered to your door. In Sydney, we highly recommend Blox Ice.

We sure are. Our delivery services (Sendle and Parcel Post) are 100% carbon neutral. Our packaging is both attractive and eco-friendly. Bottles and cardboard boxes are reusable and recyclable. The black bubble wrap mailers are compostable. The silver Envirofoil can be recycled in Redcycle bins at major supermarkets. The best bit is that most of our Playful Garnishes can be reused many times (and not just for enjoying your cocktails).

ABV stands for Alcohol By Volume. The ABV tells you the percentage of alcohol content in an alcoholic beverage. Fun fact: 8/8 Cocktails don’t skimp on ABV strength. Most of our cocktails are at least 30% stronger than other bottled cocktails. 8/8 cocktails are not only stronger, but last longer.

8/8 Cocktails have not skimped on strength. Each bottle is relatively high in ABV. With this in mind, we recommend starting with approximately 60ml to 90ml per cocktail, and topping-up as desired. Each 200ml bottle provides approximately 2-3 cocktails.

Each Ultra-Rare series is limited to just 8 bottles – not just because it has an 8 in it – but because the spirits are so rare that we can’t find more.
